The National Institute of Health is funding an ongoing R21/R33 study to assess the impact, acceptability, and feasibility of a telemedical intervention during ambulance transportation of children. The study (called FEAMER) is wrapping up its first year having conducted over 30 interviews and discussions with relevant stakeholders. Over the next few months, the team will be enrolling children in a pilot study to stress test the system (including the consent methodology) before rolling out the large-scale interventional trial.
