Guin Lee, Ph.D has been awarded the CRDF Global grant in partnership with the Kumamoto University in Japan. The research collaboration is centered on genetic sequencing of the HIV virus to identify the location of its integration into the genomes of specific immune cells. Dr. Lee specializes in the use of different sequencing techniques combined with software programming to analyze data and characterize viral mutations.
