Clinical Research Services

Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) partners with its esteemed researchers to collaborate and advise on clinical capacity development. Our subject matter experts are well versed in areas from program development to education of professionals.

Should your organization be interested in partnering with us, please note the following service opportunities:

1. Continuum of Clinical Research

  Program Development and Consultation
• Foster the foundational principles for initial clinical study design (e.g. Study Design 101)
• Provide basic training on research infrastructure development
• Assist with developing a research institution or program (i.e. precision medicine, or clinical trials program)
  Regulatory Planning
• Provide support around regulatory planning for clinical research studies (i.e. human research protections, contract negotiation, billing compliance, explaining the risks and protections involved, and assisting with any other paperwork/documentation), from a USA and international lens
  Infrastructure Support
• Provide consultation to aid in establishment of an IRB, enhancing global IRB capacity building
• Share best practices in managing large-scale funding and grants (pre and post award), and strengthening the overall infrastructure of research programs

2. Clinical Research Network Development

  Initiate connections with research leadership across countries to increase the impact and depth of international clinical research

3. Capacity Building in Public Health

  Consult with subject matter experts to advance clinical research and population health practices internationally.

4. Data Sciences and Artificial Intelligence

  AI Influence in Research
• Connect with subject matter experts at WCM, Cornell Ithaca, Cornell Tech, WCM-Qatar working in AI & Immersive Health to enhance AI application and collaboration in clinical research
  AI Influence in Education
• Consult with subject matter experts on leveraging AI capabilities in education and simulation learning to advance clinical research efforts

5. e-Learning

  Enroll in an Existing Program
• Undergo eLearning programs in research capacity building with eCornell and WCM’s Virtual Learning Institute
  Develop a Customized Solution
• Partner with subject matter experts on developing e-Learning programs for workforce training in clinical research practices (include courses on research foundations such as Research Infrastructure Methodology)

Potential Level of Involvement by WCM

WCM subject matter experts enjoy collaboration opportunities in research and the opportunity to exchange knowledge and data. We are happy to discuss the above options or variations in developing a tailored program per our partner’s requirements. We can also orient the level of involvement by WCM by interest.
